About us

FOCUS Products a/s is established in 1982 by Hans Henning Jensen primarily manufacturing monitor screen filters based on optically coated glass panels.

Josefine Honoré joined the company in 2003 and Josefine was convinced that, as a spin off from the glass filters, it should be possible to develop and manufacture glass memo boards based on a combination of her interior design ideas and her father’s experience in the field of technical glass. That was the beginning of the development of Chat-Boards®. A new original Danish design product was founded.

The breakthrough
Chat-Board quickly became a very popular product. Architects, interior designers and private people found it very unique as Chat-Board gave brand new possibilities in combining decoration and design of modern corporate headquarters and private homes. Today Focus Products a/s, beyond the original Chat-Boards, also manufacture: glass shelves, glass tables and customer specific design solutions. Design and production is carried out in close collaboration between father and daughter, however also in collaboration with young and well known Danish designers. Chat-Board has today grown into an international product, available in many countries for both the contract furniture market as well as for the private home market.
